Your adventure begins with a visit to the Capitoline Museums, the world’s first public museum, home to an extraordinary collection of art and antiquities. Marvel at the iconic Capitoline She-Wolf and immerse yourself in the fascinating history of Rome, from its legendary origins to the grandeur of the Imperial era. Admire masterpieces by renowned artists such as Caravaggio, Rubens, and Titian, while enjoying sweeping views of the Roman Forum and the Colosseum from the museum’s hilltop location.
Next, take a short drive to the charming Piazza Navona, one of the most beautiful squares in Rome. Here, you’ll have time to soak in the atmosphere, with its elegant Baroque architecture and impressive fountains. Afterward, indulge in a delicious Italian lunch (on your own expense), giving you the chance to relax and recharge.
The day continues with a visit to the Pantheon, a true architectural wonder. Explore this ancient temple, which has stood the test of time for nearly two millennia and learn about its remarkable history and engineering feats.

An accessible vehicle with a wheelchair lift or ramp is used for transportation. The number of accessible vehicles available is extremely limited; make your accessible shore excursion reservations as far in advance as possible. Lunch is not included. This tour option is specifically for guests who require a reservation for a designated accessible space, such as a wheelchair anchor. If you are a companion or have chosen to book this tour but do not require a wheelchair anchor or similar accommodation, please select the version of this tour with 'Companion' in the title. This helps us ensure that all guests who need accessibility accommodations have access to the necessary resources and allows us to coordinate effectively with our vendors.
Please complete the Special Services form at Welcome to Special Requirements Form; this will ensure that suitable transportation is in place for your tour.
In 2025, Rome will be celebrating the Jubilee, also known as the Holy Year. Due to this significant event in the Catholic Church, an abundance of tourists and pilgrims from across the world are expected to visit Rome and there will be many events taking place at St. Peter’s Basilica throughout the year, with a high possibility that the Basilica will close to visitors (or allow only pilgrims). Should the Basilica be open, long queues to access should be expected, and time at disposal might not be enough to access. Entrance to St. Peter’s Basilica is not guaranteed. Conservative attire is required to access St. Peter’s Basilica: no exposed shoulders for both women & men.
Due to this significant event taking place in Rome in 2025, overcrowding and traffic congestion should be expected.
