As you journey through the heart of Tuscany, you’ll explore the medieval town of San Quirico d’Orcia, with its charming ancient walls and spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.
The tour concludes in Pienza, a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture known for its perfect urban design. In this picturesque town, you’ll taste the renowned Pecorino di Pienza, a delicious cheese that perfectly complements the region’s culinary tradition.

Notes: This tour is designed to be accessible for all guests, including those using a wheelchair. The tour operator suggests you bring a companion to assist, as guides are not allowed to push wheelchairs. The tour route avoids stairs; however, the nature of access may differ from the standards you are familiar with at home. Accessible bathrooms with wide doors are available along the tour route. An accessible vehicle with a wheelchair lift or ramp is used for transportation. The number of accessible vehicles available is extremely limited; make your accessible shore excursion reservations as far in advance as possible. Lunch is not included. If appropriate (i.e., on long-duration tours), you will have time to purchase lunch at your own expense during the tour. Maximum weight is 300 lbs.

In 2025, Rome will be celebrating the Jubilee, also known as the Holy Year. Due to this significant event in the Catholic Church, an abundance of tourists and pilgrims from across the world are expected to visit Rome and there will be many events taking place at St. Peter’s Basilica throughout the year, with a high possibility that the Basilica will close to visitors (or allow only pilgrims). Should the Basilica be open, long queues to access should be expected, and time at disposal might not be enough to access. Entrance to St. Peter’s Basilica is not guaranteed. Conservative attire is required to access St. Peter’s Basilica: no exposed shoulders for both women & men.
Due to this significant event taking place in Rome in 2025, overcrowding and traffic congestion should be expected.
