Drive into the heart of Primorsko-Goranska County. The highland forest abounds with natural beauty, with some parts completely wild and uninhabited.
An hour's scenic journey brings you to Gorski Kotar in the Vrbovsko area. Hike with your guide into the picturesque world of Kamacnik Canyon. The two-mile trail leads to Kamacnik spring. Walk alongside the creek, crossing wooden bridges that curve over small rapids.
Stop at a local bistro for a snack of venison, ham, deer sausage, smoked cheese, homemade bread, and blueberry strudel, before returning to Rijeka.

Terrain includes boardwalks and slippery surfaces. Wear sturdy non-skid walking shoes. Dress in light clothing. Participants must be in good physical condition.
