Thirty miles away lies Lindos town, where you will see from a distance the 4th-century BC Doric Temple of Athena Lindia, high atop the Acropolis. Below the Acropolis, explore the old, whitewashed buildings and the narrow streets of this charming town -- a favorite haunt for artists and writers.
