A fascinating blend of scenery, history and geology, this tour leaves Palma by motor coach and passes through the old harbor town of Porto Cristo, founded in the Middle Ages.
Nearby are the Caves of Drach -- a series of mysterious caverns that hide the world's largest underground lake. The play of shadow and light on the cave walls create fascinating abstract images.
Continue to Porto Cristo, where you will have time to shop at the pearl factory.
The return motor coach ride is across the island's fertile plains, through many typically picturesque farming communities.

Considerable walking and stair-climbing is required. Photography is allowed on the tour but is not allowed while in the caves. On Sundays the Pearl Factory is open for morning tours only.
