Set out with a small group (maximum 23 privileged guests) for a ride on one of Oporto's iconic historical trams. These fully restored vehicles date back to the early 1900s and are built with polished wood interiors, brass controls and dials, and a clanging bell to stop the tram. The first tram line in Oporto opened in 1895. Today, the tram runs along the riverfront, passing various points of interest while you enjoy a glass of port wine paired with regional tastes.
Enjoy lunch at Vinum at Graham's Lodge -- a restaurant and wine bar featured in Food & Wine magazine. Traditional Portuguese dishes and superb wine pairings are all the better with sweeping views of the Douro River.
You will visit Sao Francisco Church and its magnificent 18th-century gold-encrusted interior -- the most prominent Gothic monument in Oporto.
Some free time allows you to explore the narrow streets of the Ribeira Quarter -- the Old Town. Take photos of the 19th-century iron bridges, or admire the traditional Rabelo boats -- once used to transport casks of port wine from the Douro Valley to the cellars in Gaia.
