This transfer may suit you if you would like to explore on your own. It consists of a motorcoach ride from the ship to Sorrento. This colorful town clings tenaciously to a cliffside on the Bay of Naples and resides in the shadow of awesome Mt Vesuvius, lurking to the north. Sorrento brims with character, and its picturesque street scenes are inspired by the Greeks' and Romans' art and industry. In its pint-sized boutiques, you will find an extraordinary collection of woodwork, mosaics, furniture, embroidery, and porcelain items worthy of your consideration. Browse and shop on your own, making purchases that will become treasured mementos of your voyage.
You will be dropped off at a central location, and the coach escort will advise you of the pick-up time for the return journey. You will have approximately 1.5 hours to shop and explore independently. If time permits, you will also stop at a crafts center at the foot of Mt Vesuvius.
