A panoramic drive brings you to a Tuscan village -- either Montecarlo di Lucca or Lari. You'll have 20 minutes of free time to wander at your leisure; then, re-join the coach for a further 15-minute drive through the countryside of Tuscany.
At a wine cellar, listen as the winemaking process is explained. You will see the machinery used in production (a bottling demonstration is not included). Enjoy tasting wine grown on the rolling hillsides of Tuscany, served with some local delicacies.
Notes:
Travel time is approximately one hour each way. Participants must walk approximately 500 yards up a slight incline to reach the village from the designated bus parking area. Not advisable for guests with mobility limitations. Montecarlo and Lari villages are extremely small; each village consists of one road and there are only a few small shops. Most shops are closed on holidays and on Sundays. Corkage policy: Wine purchased on this tour is exempt from the on-board corkage fee (offer limited to one bottle of wine per person).
