Take a 30-minute motorcoach ride to Pisa -- one of Tuscany's most beautiful and one of the world's most famous cities.
In Pisa's historical city center, board a trolley for a 45-minute tour of the Old Town, beginning on Via Santa Maria, with its many distinguished buildings. You'll see the UNESCO World Heritage site Campo dei Miracoli -- the Field of Miracles. Check out the amazing view of the famed Leaning Tower, as well the cathedral and the baptistery. It is said that Galileo, a native of Pisa, used the Cathedral to study the movement of the pendulum, and the Leaning Tower to work out his laws of gravity and acceleration.
You'll have an hour to explore on your own before the short motorcoach ride back to the ship in Livorno.
