Imagine the pleasure of listening to arias played on Puccini’s piano in his Torre del Lago home. On this exclusive tour, you’ll be treated to a private concert after exploring the villa with a member of the Fondazione Puccini as your guide.
To begin, you’ll open the door to the home of opera maestro Giacomo Puccini and step into his world. As the villa closes its doors to the public for your private tour, you will learn that the interiors of the Puccini Villa-Museum remain just as they were when the opera maestro lived here, and maybe you will feel as inspired as Puccini was by the romantic lakeside setting.
Your exclusive visit will reveal some of the Liberty-era villa's highlights and immerse you in the style and mood of the 1920s. Walking in Puccini's footsteps, you'll get an insight into the composer's life and work, and you will feel the serenity of a home that inspired many timeless melodies. You are then invited to enjoy a private concert which will take place in one of Puccini’s most-loved rooms.
Accompanied by a pianist playing the original piano that Puccini himself once played, a soprano will bring his arias to life. This performance of some of the maestro's most famous compositions creates an unforgettable connection to the artist.
While the music lingers in the air, your group will have the exclusive opportunity to view a selection of the composer's original manuscripts, including letters and notes that reflect his creative process.
