This accessible Pisa and Lucca shore excursion is a wonderful way to experience the charm and history of two of the most beautiful Tuscan towns. Explore the Field of Miracles, including the Leaning Tower of Pisa, visit the fascinating Pisa Cathedral and experience the charming Tuscan town of Lucca with its beautiful old Medieval walls.
Meet your knowledgeable guide and accessible van for a scenic panoramic drive to the city of Pisa. In the Field of Miracles, explore the famous iconic monuments, including the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the impressive Baptistery, the Monumental Cemetery and the Pisa Cathedral. The Tower does not have an elevator inside and climbing it requires the use of steps; viewing it from outside is an alternative.
Passing through the rolling countryside of Tuscany, you'll reach the town of Lucca. Stroll/roll along the medieval wall that surrounds the city -- a smooth, pedestrianized route. You will see several highlights along the way, including Piazza Verdi, Piazza san Frediano, Piazza Anfiteatro, Piazza Napoleone and Torre Guinigi (outside visits).
The breathtaking San Michele Church and Lucca Cathedral invite you to appreciate their detailed workmanship.
You will have free time for lunch on your own (at your own expense).
