A Dutch-speaking guide leads this tour (or a guide with a Dutch interpreter). A limited number of Dutch guides and interpreters are available in this port; book early to avoid disappointment. This is not a bilingual tour; please see Historic Dubrovnik for the same tour guided in English.
"Those who seek paradise on Earth," George Bernard Shaw once wrote, "should come to Dubrovnik" -- a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Drive by coach to the viewpoint south of town for a bird's-eye view of the walled city.
Back at sea level, cross the stone bridge to walk down the broad, stone-paved avenue known as the Stradun. The Old Town's main artery is lined with graceful stone palazzi where people work and live. Step inside the cathedral (1667) and the Dominican monastery, with its unique collection of Baroque paintings.
See Sponza Palace, notable for its column courtyard with elaborate stone carvings, the Rector's Palace from the outside, and Onofriou's Fountain.
Make the most of some free time for shopping or browsing in the Old Town.
Notes:
Use of an audio headset (included) will enhance your tour experience.
