A drive east along the coastline leads to the St Vicenco Monastery. Your host will offer a short presentation about the location, history, and restoration of the monastery, as well as the aromatic herb plantations and the olives grown here.
Learn about the Monastery's primary business —aromatic herb distillation, with a focus on essential oil production. Taste some local liqueurs, honey, and traditional sweets (konjtonjata, arancini, caramelized almonds).
An introduction to basic beekeeping technology, bee biology, and beekeeping equipment will enthrall the curious.
