This tour is designed to be accessible for all guests, including those using a wheelchair. It explores Old Town Dubrovnik — an incredible UNESCO World Heritage Site with sights such as the Rector's Palace, the old city walls, and the Franciscan Monastery. Nestled on the impressive coast of Croatia, truly one of the most beautiful cities you'll ever see.
Transfer to the historical core of Old Town to walk/roll down the Stradun — the beautiful limestone pedestrian street that is the backbone of the city.
View the exterior of the historic Franciscan Monastery as your tour guide narrates its fascinating history. You'll also see one of the oldest functioning pharmacies in the world — the Friars Minor Pharmacy, established around 1317. It is now a museum, where you can learn about its history and view ancient manuscripts and artifacts.
Visit St Savior Church — a small 14th-century church and one of the few Renaissance buildings to survive the earthquake of 1667.
Proceed to the majestic Rector's Palace, used by the Republic of Ragusa as the seat of the Rector between the 14th century and 1808. Although the interior of the Palace is not wheelchair accessible, the incredible exterior is well worth seeing.
Nearby, you will also spot the Dubrovnik Sephardic Synagogue, established in 1352 and the oldest synagogue in the world still in use today.
Afterward, return to the pier and the ship.
Notes:
This tour is for those accompanying a guest using a wheelchair booked on Accessible Old Town Dubrovnik. It is also suitable for those wishing to book an accessible tour but not requiring specific accommodations, such as a wheelchair anchor on the transportation. Guests using a wheelchair and requiring a designated accessible place on the transportation must select the version of this tour that does not include "Companion" in the title. Wear comfortable non-skid walking shoes. The stone streets in the Old Town are worn smooth and can be slippery.
