This transfer may suit you if you would like to explore on your own. It consists of a motorcoach ride from the ship to both Old Monaco and Monte Carlo.
You will be dropped off at the foot of the Rock of Monaco. From there, you’ll be carried to the top by a series of escalators and elevators. On the Upper Level, the coach escort will advise you of the pick-up time and place for your onward journey. You will have approximately 2¾ hours to explore Monaco independently.
Re-join your coach for a short drive to the bus parking lot in Monte Carlo, where you’ll take a series of stairs and elevators to the Casino Square at the top. The coach escort will advise you of the pick-up time and place for your onward journey. You will have approximately 1¼ hours to explore Monte Carlo independently.
Notes:
Guide service, entrance fees and lunch are not included in the transfer price. It is your responsibility to be at the drop-off point at the given return time. An English-speaking escort will be aboard the transfer motorcoach to answer questions and lead you to the meeting location. Participants must negotiate stairs and/or uneven surfaces and is therefore not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Dress code for the casino: no shorts, tank tops, tennis shoes or sportswear. The slot machines at the casino open at 2pm. Persons under 18 years will not be admitted. An entry fee is required. Passports are required in the Casino to gamble, exchange currency and to collect any winnings over 750 Euros. Travel time to Monaco/Monte Carlo is approximately 1.5 hours each way.
