Depart the pier for a pleasant drive to Nice, capital of the Côte d'Azur. You will enter the city driving along the palm-lined Promenade des Anglais boulevard. Note the legendary Negresco Hotel, with its imposing Rococo façade.
A small open-air electric train will take you on a one-hour narrated ride through the Old Town where tall houses, bright with flowers and connected by telegraph lines of laundry, exclude the glare of sun and keep the streets cool.
Return to the promenade for some free time before heading back to Cannes.

Little train does not operate from mid-November to April. During this time a walking tour of Old Nice will be substituted.
