Depart the pier for a scenic 1.5-hour drive to the Principality of Monaco, home to the royal Grimaldi family, it is a principality of fairytale beauty.
In Monaco, you will first to the foot of the Rock of Monaco. From there, you’ll be carried to the top by a series of escalators and elevators. On the Upper Level, take a guided walking tour passing by the Oceanographic Museum, St. Nicholas Cathedral, the final resting place of Princess Grace and Prince Rainier and enjoy an exterior view of the Prince’s Palace. After your guided tour, you will have some free time to explore on your own.
Re-join your coach for a short drive to, Monte Carlo. From the bus parking lot, you’ll take a series of stairs and elevators to the Casino Square. Enjoy some free time to explore on your own. You may wish to admire the Hotel de Paris, do a little window shopping, or even try your luck at the Café de Paris Casino.
Notes: :
You may enter the casino (at your own expense) on your own during the time at Casino Square. Dress code for the casino: no shorts, tank tops, tennis shoes or sportswear. The slot machines at the casino open at 2pm. Persons under 18 years will not be admitted. An entry fee is required. Passports are required in the Casino to gamble, exchange currency and to collect any winnings over 750 Euros. Participants must negotiate stairs and/or uneven surfaces and is therefore not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Wear sunglasses and sunscreen. Bring a hat and water. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Lunch is not included. You will have time to purchase lunch at your own expense during the tour.
