Discover the highlights of Cartagena, originally settled in 227 BC. The city has flourished under Roman, Muslim and Arab rule, and today offers a vast cultural legacy. Begin your tour with a walk up to Concepción Castle. From here, panoramic views sweep over the city and the harbor to the 18th-century sea wall.
Stroll along the sea wall to reach the Town Hall Square and the main avenue, admiring interesting modernist buildings that date from the late 19th century.
Visit the archaeological site of Muralla Punica -- the remains of the old wall that protected the city during the Carthaginian occupation. You'll have some free time to explore on your own afterwards.
Notes: Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Tour does not operate on Mondays. Use of an audio headset (included) will enhance your tour experience.
