The rural beauty of the Basque country unfolds before you as you travel through countryside dotted with secluded farmhouses and along the Biscayan Coast with its steep cliffs and isolated beaches en route to Bermeo.
At Bermeo the provincial capital until 1602 and a charming fishing port. In the old quarter you will see the Gothic Church of San Francisco, the 18th-century town hall and the neoclassical Church of Santa Maria.
Now we will drive to visit a local winery, Cellar Gorka Izaguirre which produces a white wine Txacoli, a great combination with Basque gastronomy. A white wine, sophisticated, with irresistible freshness which dazzles the most demanding of diners. We will taste two different wines
Notes: Wear comfortable walking shoes. Long walk in Bermeo, some walking in the cellar
