Enjoy a drive through Barcelona as well as a spicy flamenco dance demonstration.
Your guide will point out from the coach the main highlights of this charming city, beginning with the old Gothic Quarter.
Head along the Passeig de Gracia. This street showcases many of the city's Modernist buildings -- some designed by the famous architect Antoni Gaudí, who died a pauper but today is immortalized through his architecture. View from the coach Gaudí's Sagrada Familia Church with its monstrous towers and extraordinary architectural features that are still a work in progress.
The coach will continue to the Plaza España and Montjuïc, site of the 1992 Olympic Games, where you can step into the Pueblo Español (a composite reproduction of some of the prettier villages of Spain) for an introduction to traditional Spanish village life. Enjoy a 30-minute Flamenco dance performed by four stylish, professional artists. Savor the cultural show as you taste dry Spanish wine or the tangy local sangria along with snacks.
