Set out on a short drive through Argostolion to Cephalonia Botanica.
The gardens at Cephalonia Botanica were established in 1998, on the initiative of the Focas-Cosmetatos Foundation. Its original aims were the preservation and display of the wild and endemic plants of Cephalonia and the promotion of environmental causes. From its inception, Cephalonia Botanica has gained international recognition and is now a member of BGCI (Botanic Gardens Conservation International) and IPEN (International Plant Exchange Network).
After a guided walk through the garden enjoy a selection of hot drinks made with local herbs.
Re-board your coach and enjoy a scenic drive to a Mythos venue for a fun cooking class. Learn how to prepare some of the local specialties, find out what makes Greek cuisine so reliably delicious, and determine which simple ingredients you can easily access at home. Listen to some great tips from the resident chef to guide your culinary exploration and taste the finished product -- your tastebuds will thank you.
Notes:
Wear comfortable walking shoes.
