Ride by covered motor boat to the west coast of Taha'a to discover the beauty of Raiatea's sister island.
Put on your aqua shoes and leave the boat to walk across an uninhabited motu (islet) off the coast. Start your drift snorkeling experience from the other side of the islet, and your guide will lead you as the current carries you along over shallow coral -- there's no stopping along the way! The drift will be done up to three times (time permitting). Participants must be extremely comfortable in the water as snorkeling takes place in very shallow water and through a current that can be very strong. You have to follow the valleys through the coral to avoid touching the coral formations, as doing so can lead to injuries.
The area teems with a spectacular variety of tropical fish and amazing corals. The richness of this coral garden is unique in Polynesia -- snorkelers will enjoy a very rewarding experience.
