The Wailua River is known for its tropical beauty. Embarking a riverboat, you'll enjoy a narrated cruise up the peaceful river.
Take a short walk along a paved path to view the Fern Grotto, which forms a natural amphitheater providing excellent acoustics for the small Hawaiian musicians group that will serenade you. Brilliant green ferns hang from the dripping ceiling.
Cruise back downriver and reboard your coach.
You'll visit Opaekaa Falls (meaning 'rolling shrimp') -- a 151-foot waterfall that has featured in several movies.
