This laid-back adventure starts with a scenic cruise around Huahine Nui and Huahine Iti.
Your friendly guide will relate the history and legends of French Polynesia, while demonstrating the art of coconut leaf tray-making. Remember to take your camera as this relaxing, short lagoon cruise is an ideal way to view the lush vegetation, azure waters and sandy coastline of Huahine.
Head across Maroe Bay to peaceful Motu Muri Mahora, where you will have plenty of time to relax on the secluded beach, swim and enjoy a demonstration of how to tie a traditional pareo (sarong).
Your welcoming hosts will set up a Polynesian-style picnic, on a table set up in the clear, shallow waters. Savor this delicious and unique meal, before heading back across this bay to your ship.
Notes:
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, a cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat.
