Board a four-wheel-drive vehicle for a ride through Moorea’s deep valleys and mountains.
In the Paopao Valley you’ll pass some pineapple plantations; then, cross to the territorial property of Opunohu. A stop at one of the numerous marae (ancient, sacred sites) allows you to learn more about Polynesian culture. Continue to the Belvedere lookout point for a panoramic view (weather dependent) of Cook’s and Opunohu Bays.
Viewpoints will be part of your drive for multiple photography opportunities.
Notes:
Minimum age is 6 years. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Itinerary and stops may be reduced or may differ dependent upon weather conditions. Large families or couples may be split up depending on tour numbers. You must remain seated in the vehicle while it is in motion. Some venues may be closed on weekends and holidays; alternative routes/venues will be substituted. Expensive clothing and jewelry should not be worn on tour. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable/reef-safe sunscreen. Bring bottled water.
