Delight all your senses on this Caribbean-style outdoor cooking adventure -- a fun and tasty way to get acquainted with this region.
Set out on a short, scenic drive with mountain and sea vistas and through rain forest terrain to a private family home. Your chef host greets you and will start the day with an introduction to the herbs and fresh produce to be used in the cooking demonstration.
In an open-air kitchen, traditional Caribbean delicacies are prepared from scratch. You'll learn about the role of spices and the significance of certain foods in Dominican culture. As the food cooks, take time out to explore the grounds and savor the breathtaking views. Then, sit down with fellow foodies and enjoy a delicious lunch with fruit and rum punch.
Relax on the ride back to the pier.
