Your adventure begins with a transfer to Rio de Janeiro airport for a flight to Iguazu falls. a boxed lunch is provided. Located at the border of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, the falls are one of nature's most impressive monuments. the locals call them big waters, but you'll call them simply unforgettable as you explore both the Brazilian and Argentine sides of Iguazu national park.

Day 2 (B/L/D)
Head directly to the Brazilian side of the falls for a guided one-mile walking tour and majestic wide-angle vistas of this awesome phenomenon. a catwalk takes you close to the bottom of the garganta del diablo (devil's throat) for amazing views enveloped in spray from the falls.
Step into the elevator that will take you up to the road level and walk to a nearby restaurant for lunch inside the park.
This afternoon, you're headed out for a speed-boat river adventure. your initial transportation is an open-air wagon towed behind a 4x4 vehicle, and it brings you to the riverside. along the way, your multi-lingual guide will point out the flora and fauna of Iguazu national park, including orchids, palm trees, bromeliads, centenary trees, and wild animals that occasionally cross the trail. at the river, put on a lifejacket and put your camera and other electronics into a plastic container as will get wet on this portion of your trip.
On the water, the secure and efficient inflatable twin-engine boat easily withstands the rigors of the excursion. the boat heads up the river, through the canyon, taking on the rapids at a speed that allows you to appreciate the stunning scenery. a waterside perspective of the devil's throat showcases rainbows, sky, mist and water in profusion. your guide will show you the highest point, called the three musketeers. there, the captain will maneuver the boat so you can have a quick, refreshing shower -- everyone gets wet, and it's part of the fun. back on dry land, transfer back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 (B/L/D)
Awake and prepare for breakfast at your hotel. today, we will cross the Tancredo Neves bridge over the Iguazu river -- the border between Argentina and Brazil. explore the Argentine side, taking the scenic highway to the visitor center and proceeding from there to the upper circuit of the falls. here, you'll see the up-river cascades, and you're essentially on top of the falls. on the lower circuit, view the downriver falls almost at river level -- a wet and wild experience as the spray from the falls often hangs over the path. finally, you'll take the ecological train to the devil's throat. this is where the horseshoe-shaped cascades drop millions of gallons of water per second over hard granite into a gorge 260 feet below. you will get soaked, but it is well worth it. lunch will be at a local restaurant.
Return to the hotel with a chance to relax this afternoon. Dinner will be at your hotel.

Day 4 (B/L/D)
Start your day with a delicious buffet breakfast at your hotel. Then transfer from your hotel to the airport in preparation for your flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, enjoy a transfer from the airport to your hotel. Recharge with a delightful lunch at your hotel if you flight does not arrive too late. Take the rest of the day to rest, relax and explore at your leisure. After your day is complete, head back to your hotel for dinner.

Day 5 (B/)
Start your day with a buffet breakfast. Next, check-out of your hotel and embark on a panoramic city tour of Buenos Aires as you make your way to the pier, where you'll reboard your ship. The excursion takes you through vibrant neighborhoods like San Telmo and La Boca, before heading downtown to visit iconic landmarks like the Casa Rosada, Metropolitan Cathedral, and Cabildo. You'll also drive along Avenida de Mayo, pass by the Congress building, and admire the Colón Theatre, one of the world's most renowned opera houses. The tour concludes with a glimpse of Palermo's beautiful parks and the glamorous Recoleta area before arriving at the pier.

90 days prior to arrival in the excursion port. this excursion is non-refundable within 90 days of arrival into the excursion port. any cancellations made after this deadline will be subject to full payment of the tour. this will include if a guest cancels their voyage within 90 days of arrival into the excursion port.
Notes:
Terrain includes uneven ground at Iguazu falls. be prepared for crowding at the site. bring light rainwear and insect repellent. mist from the falls will settle on your clothing; you will get wet. flight duration from buenos airs to Puerto Iguacu is two hours each way; bring earplugs or noise-canceling headphones for the flight, as the aircraft may be somewhat noisy. tour sequence may vary, both within each day and across all days. accommodation is included (hotels are subject to change). airport assistance and transfers, transportation by air-conditioned coach, all entrance fees indicated in the itinerary, an English-speaking guide (unless otherwise noted), water on the vehicle, and meals (as indicated) are also included. gratuities and personal expenses are not included. bring your reciprocity papers (if applicable) and passport with you on tour.

Breathing devices:
There are stringent regulations regarding the transportation of breathing/respiratory devices for any purpose during tours or overland trips. Guests intending to bring such a device must notify the home office or shore excursion staff at least 30 days before the start of the tour. They are required to fill out the necessary FAA documentation, furnish a physician's authorized letter detailing the device's particular use, and provide information about the device. It is imperative to understand that each airline will conduct an inspection of the device before boarding to ensure compliance, which may result in delays at the airport.
