Enjoy a scenic drive away from Cape Town along the Atlantic coast through Sea Point, Bantry Bay, Clifton and Camps Bay.
You'll stop at Maiden's Cove to enjoy the magnificent views over Camps Bay Beach and the Twelve Apostles. Continue along the coastal road, past the upmarket suburb of Llandudno and on towards the fishing village of Hout Bay.
From here, you will travel one of the world's most spectacular routes -- Chapman's Peak Drive -- with its numerous lookout points offering magnificent ocean views toward Hout Bay and the Sentinel.
Pass the pristine white sands of Noordhoek Beach before joining the scenic Ou Kaapse Weg (Old Cape Road). Take in the sweeping views over the southern Peninsula, Cape Flats and False Bay.
Heading back to the city via the M3 freeway, you'll pass the University of Cape Town, the Rhodes Memorial, Mostert's Mill and the famous Groote Schuur Hospital.
Notes:
Chapman's Peak Drive is very narrow and winding; guests prone to motion sickness should consider this before booking and/or take appropriate medication. Not suitable for guests with a fear of heights. Suitable for guests using a wheelchair. No walking is on tour; however, participants must be able to board the motorcoach. If Chapman's Peak Drive is closed, a panoramic drive through Constantia Neck will be substituted.
