Continue your exploration of Timanfaya National Park along the Lunar Route, where you'll witness the island’s otherworldly volcanic terrain shaped by past eruptions. Experience fascinating geo-thermic experiments that showcase the intense heat still present beneath the surface, a reminder of the island’s fiery origins.

Enjoy a typical wine tasting (one varietal) at a bodega in the La Geria wine district. You'll travel directly to a local restaurant for lunch. Heading northwards, you will pass Monumento al Campesino on the way to Teguise. The monument is another creation by Cesar Manrique.
Pass the old capital of Lanzarote and the Mirador de Haria, overlooking the Valley of Haria and the village of a thousand palms. From the Mirador del Rio, take in the spectacular view of Graciosa Island, neighboring isles, and the colorful salt pans at the bottom of the cliff.
Continue to Jameos del Agua, a volcanic grotto and lava tube formed by the Atlantic Ocean, creating an underground lake and an outdoor pool surrounded by subtropical vegetation.
