Put on a flotation suit and head out by RIB (rigid inflatable) boat across the fjord to the historic Stadt Peninsula. You are traveling in a small group (maximum 12 privileged guests), making this a private and exclusive experience.
From Måløy Harbor, head north, threading your way among the beautiful archipelago surrounding the town. Traveling at water level, you will find that you are able to get close to nature, feeling the fresh breeze from the sea.
You will pause at the old fishing village on Silda Island, see the Selja Monastery on Selja Island, and view the coastal village of Drage, where the Vikings wisely portaged their boats over the mountain to avoid some very choppy waters.
Keep an eye out for a wealth of seabirds and wildlife along the way.
Notes:
Ride will be bumpy; guests who are pregnant and those with a back or neck condition are not allowed to participate. Minimum age is 12 years. Dress warmly in layered clothing with gloves, a scarf, and a hat; outer layer should be windproof and waterproof. Wear waterproof shoes. Survival suits are provided and must be worn. Tour operates rain or shine but may be canceled by the operator in the event of extremely bad weather or unsuitable conditions.
