Combine the best of two worlds with a RIB (rigid inflatable boat) cruise on Hardangerfjord and the sparkling gold of Hardanger — locally produced apple cider.
Your tour starts with historical fjord safari along Hardangerfjord by RIB. The fjord is filled with living cultural heritage, surrounded by vast mountains icily cloaked in glaciers. Keep an eye out for wildlife as your guide shares fascinating natural and cultural stories from the area.
Step ashore in Nå — a village that is home to some of the best and most famous cider producers of Hardanger. Explore a local farm and sample the famous Hardanger Cider.
Hardanger apples have been pressed and processed to perfection for generations. The earliest documentation of fruit-growing in Norway dates back to the 13th century. It is believed that the Cistercian monks were the first to plant apple trees in Norway. In recent years, however, the popularity, quality, and standard of Hardanger Cider have reached new heights, winning multiple awards both nationally and internationally. Cider from Hardanger is a protected appellation and is characterized by its light, tart, and aromatic apple taste.
