This wonderful, scenic boat tour takes you through some of Norway’s most picturesque fjords, unveiling the region’s rich history, Viking heritage, and stunning wildlife.
Cruise out of the harbor with views of the village of Nordfjordeid and the stunning mountains rising from the deep fjord.
As your catamaran reaches the open fjords and quickens its pace, view the scenery as it swiftly changes from the cityscape to views of the fjords and the surrounding mountains.
There will be several stops during the trip, including at a Norwegian salmon farm, where you will learn about the important salmon industry. View towering waterfalls for fantastic photo opportunities and hydropower plants for a deeper insight into sustainable energy production in Norway.
Coffee, tea and Norwegian waffles are served on board while you enjoy the scenic cruise back to the harbor. Your guide will explain how the Vikings learned to live and farm in this area, creating early versions of the commercial enterprises in play today.
