Explore this local culture at Dyrehøj Vineyard — a local vineyard cultivating wine grapes for 20% of Denmark's wine production. Today, it's your turn to decide if Denmark is on your winemaking map. Opt for a walk to a viewpoint overlooking Kalundborg Fjord, visit the vineyard's art gallery, or taste various wines at the wine bar (at your own expense) — a great way to kick-start your morning.
Continue to Røsnæs Nature School, run by the Kalundborg Municipality in collaboration with the Nature Agency. It is located in scenic surroundings at the tip of the Røsnæs Peninsula. In the forest, a three-mile hiking route is marked with yellow spots on stones, trees and poles. Follow the trail through the forest, over grassland, and across a pebble beach.
You will pause at the Røsnæs Lighthouse, perched on the tip of the peninsula and demarcating the northern and western waters of the fjord. It was built in 1844, along with a lighthouse-keeper's residence.
On a quiet, sunny day, you may be lucky enough to see seals lollygagging on the rocks along the shoreline.

Lunch, refreshments and wine tasting are not included and are at your own expense. It is your responsibility to be at the pick-up points at the given return times. A guide will be aboard the transfer motorcoach to answer questions en route; upon arrival at each site, you will have free time. Bring local currency, as many vendors do not accept US dollars. At high tide, the beach at Røsnæs Naturskole may be flooded; you can walk on paths above the slopes. The café at Røsnæs lighthouse is open only on weekends.
