Hailed as the most French city outside of France, Québec is a spectacle of charm and character. On this panoramic drive, view the Old Town's historic landmarks and journey along the St-Lawrence River to view the spectacular Montmorency Falls.
Place-Royale is a beautifully-restored market square with typical 17th- and 18th-century stone architecture. Nearby, you'll see the oldest standing catholic church in North America — Notre-Dame-des-Victoires.
National Battlefields Park, also known as the Plains of Abraham, is where the French surrendered to the British in 1759. Take photos from Parc Jeanne d'Arc.
Your route will take you along the Grande-Allée — Québec's shopping street lined with quaint shops, sidewalk cafés, and boutiques — to the Hôtel du Parlement. This imposing Second Empire-style building overlooks the city.
Pass through some beautiful pastoral landscapes in Quebec's countryside to the bottom of Montmorency Falls. See the powerful forces of nature at work as the water of the Montmorency River roars down the cliff to eventually meet with the St-Lawrence River.
Notes:
This tour is available only to guests whose cruise begins in Québec. The pick-up point for all guests is the Fairmont Château Frontenac. If you are not staying at the Château Frontenac, you must make arrangements to get to the Château Frontenac with all of your luggage (at your own expense) in sufficient time prior to planned departure. Guests not staying at the Château Frontenac must not bring their luggage inside the lobby; the drop-off point for your luggage is curbside outside the hotel. Look for the Holland America Line representative and your tour guide outside the hotel. Keep your luggage with you at all times. Meet the bus 15 minutes prior to departure with your luggage.
