Continue onward to a powerful contemporary monument: a striking 21 foot tall aluminum statue of an Indigenous woman with her fist raised. This poignant artwork was unveiled in memory of the missing women from the Uashat mak Mani utenam community and stands as a symbol of strength, remembrance, and awareness.
Your experience concludes at the Tshissenitamun Mitshuap Cultural Centre, a welcoming space dedicated to the transmission of Innu knowledge, language, and traditions.
