Discover the exceptional beauty of the Mingan Archipelago on a boat trip departing from Havre-Saint-Pierre.
A scenic cruise -- an experience in itself -- takes you to Petite Ile au Marteau. There, embark on a walk to the lighthouse station. This easy-to-moderate walk allows you to discover the flora of the island and the lighthouse that has helped prevent shipwrecks since 1915. The lifestyle of the lighthouse keepers and the secrets of the shoreline will be revealed.
On your way to the lighthouse station, stop at the lookout and enjoy the panoramic view of the sea-shaped limestone cliffs of Grosse Ile au Marteau.

This island allows guests with mobility limitations to enjoy the heart of the Mingan Archipelago. Duration may vary slightly. It is essential that you wear warm, layered clothing in order to fully enjoy and participate in this excursion. Outer layer should be waterproof and windproof. Bring gloves, a warm hat and a scarf. On the island, there will be Parks Canada interpreters stationed at different areas available to answer any guests' questions.
