Join your skipper and eco-host on a semi-rigid inflatable boat and zoom through tropical waters to Whitsunday Island -- one of the largest of the region's 74 islands. Depending on the weather, your trip can range from exciting and fast to downright hair-raising.
Beautiful Whitehaven Beach is perfect for swimming. You can also join a guided walk to Hill Inlet lookout for picture-postcard views across to Pentecost Island.
A cold boxed lunch is served on board the vessel. The island is totally uninhabited and offers a chance to get back to nature and the sound of silence.
Return to Airlie Beach in the early afternoon.
Notes:
Minimum age is 4 years. Tour does not operate on holidays. There are no amenities or shops on the island. The box jellyfish and stinger season generally starts with the onset of the wet across the top of northern Australia, usually between October and April.
