This brief tour introduces you to the highlights in and around the tropical town of Airlie Beach -- hub of the Whitsunday region.
You will travel from the Port of Airlie to Cannonvale Beach -- a tranquil beachfront suburb -- to snap photos from a scenic vantage point. Then, you're headed to the Shute Harbour Lookout for more views over the tranquil Whitsunday water.
Venturing into the heart of Airlie Beach town, leave the coach and explore the Airlie Beach market for souvenir shopping. The beachfront or lagoon invites you to swim in the warm water to cool off.
Guests wishing to stay in town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so but must make their own way back to the ship. There is a shuttle bus back to the pier, or it is just a short walk from town.
Notes:
Tour does not operate on holidays. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing if you wish to swim; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Markets may not be available on afternoon departure.
