Enjoy a boat ride through the pristine inland waterways of the Vava'u island group.
This is a stunning, once-in-a-lifetime experience watching for humpback whales spouting, spy hopping and breaching. An educational briefing from an informed local guide gives you perspective on these and other behaviors. View mother whales basking with their newborn calves. These magnificent and graceful mammals are often seen up close. Watch and listen as the male escort whale sings his songs.
A packed lunch, including a bottle of water or a soft drink, is included.
Notes:
Whale season is officially between July and November each year. Whale sightings are likely but are not guaranteed. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable sunscreen. Bring bottled water. Bring a lanyard to secure your hat, as it can be breezy on the water. Tour does not operate on Sundays.
