A Heart for Community
Connect with the heart and soul of a vibrant community. Whether you're meeting friendly locals, encountering heirloom cultures, engaging with Native peoples, exploring hidden corners, or discovering beloved eateries, let lasting memories begin with warmth, hospitality, and genuine connection.
Fall in love with Sydney’s Inner West as you taste your way through its multicultural, gourmet eateries. Once home to the city’s working class, the Inner West has developed into an eclectic neighbourhood with a thriving food scene. This culinary excursion takes you to experience tantalizing taste sensations from the Orient to the Mediterranean.
No Sydney tour cannot include a coffee that you'll enjoy from a local barista as you stroll Marrickville's main street where you may sample Sydney's most famous Banh Mi (pork roll) or visit an iconic family run deli producing its own burrata, bocconcini, ricotta and other house made cheeses along with Australian olives and meats (kangaroo salami...yum!).
The Inner West is full of craft breweries, so you'll definitely enjoy a cold one, maybe even in a retro Chinese-Australian restaurant inside a brewery dedicated to Australia's most beloved and charismatic Prime Minister, Bob Hawke! Or maybe you will visit a mystery venue only the locals know about.
To finish, you will need gelato in your life, so for dessert, we'll visit our favorite 'serial chillers' for a cone or a cup and anything else they have decided to dip in chocolate!
Besides sampling the scrumptious fare, you will meet the producers, provisioners, chefs and families whose creativity and cultural threads are now woven into Sydney’s identity.
