Transfer by minivan to nearby Ngakuta Bay to spend a half-day out on one of the most scenic and unspoiled waterways in New Zealand -- Queen Charlotte Sound. This area was visited frequently by Captain James Cook in the late 18th century.
Gear up and head out in a two-seater kayak. You'll spend the next two hours kayaking around some of the most beautiful bays in the Marlborough province, at the southern end of Queen Charlotte Sound.
You'll have a half-hour at Davies Bay
or Governors Bay to enjoy light refreshments and relax before kayaking back to Ngakuta Bay.A 20-minute minivan transfer returns you to the ship at Picton.
