If you love watersports and getting out among nature, this might just be the perfect tour for you. A Moreton Island Adventure Day Pass gives you access to a wide range of activities.
Valued at over $250, this adventure package is the greatest way to enjoy our activities. Throughout the day you can hire stand up paddleboards, single kayaks, snorkel equipment and fishing gear (bait sold separately). Activities under this pass are self-guided and unsupervised, so it is suitable for independent and physically capable travelers. Combine with our Wrecks Water Taxi Pass for the complete independent adventure.
Hire equipment it subject to minimum ages as follows:
Kayak Hire: 4 years old with an adult present
Snorkel Equipment Hire: 6+ with an adult present
SUP Hire: 12+ with an adult present
Fishing Rod Hire: 4+ with an adult present
16 + do not require adult supervision, but a parent or guardian must be present to sign necessary waivers at time of wristband collection.
Notes:
Not suitable for pregnant women and guests with back problems. The Adventure Day Pass is valid from 9am to 4pm and includes three-hour stand-up paddleboard rental, three-hour single/double kayak rental, full day snorkel equipment hire, full day fishing rod hire (bait sold separately), and full day wetsuit hire. The rentals run consecutively and cannot be combined. Day passes are per person and cannot be shared or split with other guests or members of the family. Participants must check in and provide credit card details for a security deposit which will be refunded when equipment is returned in good order. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Pregnant guests and those who suffer from epilepsy are required to obtain a medical clearance/doctors’ note specifying they are medically cleared to participate in this tour, a physical or digital copy of the doctors’ note must be available at tour check-in and must be current within the last 6 months. A parent or guardian must be participating with any guests 16 years or age or younger, a parent or guardian must be present for check-in for all guests under the age of 18.
