Commonly referred to as SUP by enthusiasts, stand-up paddleboarding is one of the most popular water activities in Australia. It’s a fun and healthy way to make the most of Tangalooma Island’s stunning beaches. Not only will you enjoy a few laughs as you find your balance, paddleboarding is also great for general fitness through balance exercise which strengthens your core.
With an experienced guide by your side to provide pointers, this tour is suitable for beginners through to experienced paddlers.
Notes:
Wear aqua shoes. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable/reef-safe sunscreen. Bring bottled water. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim and participate at your own risk. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Guests who are pregnant or have a back or neck condition and guests with epilepsy or seizures must bring a medical certificate stating they are medically cleared to participate in this tour specifically; a physical or digital copy of the doctor’s note must be available at tour check-in and must be current within the last 6 months. Minimum age is 12 years.
