The pristine waters surrounding Moreton Island are home to a staggering variety of marine life. Dolphins, dugongs, turtles, stingrays and more are all regularly found swimming here. You could say it’s rush hour on Moreton Island, marine style.
Set out on a glass-bottom boat for the beautiful scenery above the water, looking out for the wealth of marine life below. You'll cruise around the 15 magnificent ship wrecks that are now home to more than 200 species of tropical fish.
Notes:
You will be required to embark the tour boat from the beach, therefore your feet and ankles will get wet. The ramp to board the boat is steep. Sighting of marine life is not guaranteed. Please ensure that you wear comfortable flat-soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat and jacket and bring along some sunscreen and bottled water. On wet weather days, we strongly recommend bringing a rain jacket as you may get a little wet and the breeze may be cool. Suitable for guests using a wheelchair– beach wheelchair is available to help guests board the boat. Suitable for all ages. To add infants to this tour please see the shore tours desk onboard the ship. Children 12 and under must wear life jacket. A parent or guardian must be participating with any guests 16 years of age or younger. A parent or guardian must be present for check-in for all guests under the age of 18.
