Nestled at the base of the Sabeto Mountains are some natural thermal mud pools. Local villagers welcome you to their domain, and you'll enjoy a kava ceremony with the chief.
Your guide leads you to the thermal mud pools to experience natural spa therapy. Fijian people have used these pools for their therapeutic properties for generations. Thermal mud is rubbed into the skin, and refreshing chilled water is provided while the sun dries the mud. Enter the hot thermal pools to rinse off the mud and soothe away any tension, leaving your skin exfoliated and smooth.
Notes:
Tour requires a moderate amount of walking. Terrain includes some steps. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Participants must be in good health. Guests who are pregnant or have a heart condition, varicose veins, or high or low blood pressure are not allowed to participate. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Participate at your own risk. The sulfur in the hot springs can discolor light-colored swimsuits. Wear washable shoes that you don't mind getting muddy.
