Become better acquainted with Nadi on a panoramic drive through the city and past nearby villages and sugarcane plantations. Located on the western side of Viti Levu island, Nadi (pronounced nandy) is one of Fiji's most popular vacation destinations. It is also the main portal to many of the nearby islands. Setting out along the Kings Highway, against a backdrop of the picturesque Sleeping Giant mountain range, you'll see a number of landmarks. Your knowledgeable guide provides informative commentary.
Pause for photos at Vuda Lookout, from which you will have a bird's-eye view of Port Denarau and the isles of Nadi. Along the way, you'll also see the largest Hindu temple in the South Pacific.
Stop in Nadi town to shop for souvenirs and relax over refreshments at Vuda Marina before returning to the pier.
Notes:
Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable sunscreen. Bring bottled water. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Bring local currency, as many vendors do not accept credit cards or US dollars.
