Join a small group and travel through beautiful farmland to Cape Willoughby Lighthouse -- South Australia's oldest lighthouse built in 1852. You'll visit Kangaroo Island's easternmost point, teeming with wildlife.
A ranger guide leads you through the light station precinct, museum and tower (102 steps) with outstanding views. The isolation and ruggedness of this part of Kangaroo Island are striking and befits the maritime history of the island.
Take a short coastal walk to see the Devil's Kitchen.
Travel the short distance to False Cape Winery -- one of the island's leading wineries. False Cape Vineyard is sustainable and completely off the grid with a unique cellar door (tasting room). The vineyard covers 65 acres, and its seven varietals make a great mix of reds and whites. Included in your tour are a wine-tasting experience and a substantial lunch of deluxe platters and great homemade pies.
Afterward, relax on the drive back to Penneshaw.
