Join your local guide on a scenic boat ride around Turtle Bay to discover some of the beautiful bays and islets of the Isle of Pines.
A two-minute walk from the pier brings you to Kanumera Bay where you'll hop aboard a motorboat. At St Maurice Bay, a Christian monument stands side by side with mystical Kanak totems. Turtle Bay features an underwater plateau that is a playground for turtles and stingrays, often seen moving swiftly in these clear, pristine waters.
Keep an eye out for manta rays, dolphins and sharks as well. If the turtles are feeling sociable, you may be able to join them in the water for a swim. Feel free to bring your own snorkel set for the best underwater visibility. If time permits, step ashore for a short beach break on a nearby island. Swim, stroll, or simply relax on the white sand before returning to Kuto Bay.
Notes:
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen and a hat. Snorkel gear is not provided; bring your own if you wish to snorkel. Wear shoes that you don't mind getting wet. Minimum age is 8 years. Maximum age is 70 years. A local guide may demonstrate wild animal handling and release on this tour. Guests must have good mobility and be able to get in and out of boats independently. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed.
