Solomon Islands cocoa, from the cacao plant, has duly earned a fantastic reputation among boutique chocolate makers in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

This tour will take you to the cacao plantations of Guadalcanal. On site, you will taste the cacao fruit and learn about the process of fermenting and roasting cacao beans into cocoa ready for export. Watch the roasting of cocoa for a natural and healthy tea.

Visit Honiara’s only chocolate shop for a chocolate tasting and to see and enjoy all things chocolate.
