Discover how the Aboriginal people's rich heritage is celebrated at the Rainforestation Nature Park. A number of engaging activities invite you to explore the traditions of Australia's first nations.
Upon arrival, you'll embark on an immersive Dreamtime Walk led by local Pamagirri guides. Try your hand at throwing a boomerang, learn how to catch your food by throwing a spear, and listen as you learn the different animal calls of the didgeridoo. Then, witness a spectacular cultural performance in the rainforest amphitheater.
An exciting drive aboard an amphibious Army Duck vehicle tour takes you overland and rainforest rivers.
Next, the time is yours to meet koalas, dingos and Tasmanian devils. Wander along a series of elevated boardwalks that provide uninterrupted views of the animals and a chance to hand-feed free-roaming kangaroos and wallabies.
Finally, feast on an Aussie-style barbecue lunch before you return to Cairns.
Notes:
